Recap
The 2nd to last regular-season stop on the inaugural All-American Kayak series trail will be held on Lewis and Clark Lake, September 11, 2021. The 30,000-acre reservoir sits along the South Dakota-Nebraska border at the confluence of the Missouri and Niobrara. Wood cover, vegetation (lily pads, milfoil and coontail), main channel sandbars and sloughs are just a sampling of the diverse fish habitat awaiting kayak anglers on Lewis and Clark. Boundaries are from Lewis and Clark dam to Hwy 14 bridge on the Nebraska side, Hwy 37 bridge on SD side.
Once launched, anglers may go as far upriver as they can paddle without portaging over dry land. Ketch board only, no minimum length.
