This event will be held on Truman lake in Clinton Missouri. Anglers must have a valid Missouri fishing license.

Dates – April 28-29, 2023

Off limits period April 11- April 21. Anglers may not get on Truman lake in a boat or kayak during this time.

Official practice period begins April 22nd at 6am and ends at 6pm April 27th. Anglers must use kayaks during official practice period.

The best anglers from every club in the Nation are invited.

Top 10 in AOY plus more will represent each club in the Nation as everyone gets together to battle it out for that top Team/Club trophy and cash payout.

Teams will be based on the best 5 angler’s final scores from each club, that will be combined to create the Club total. Anglers will choose the club they will be representing at the Captains meeting.

Individual Championship-

Best 2 day total score will be crowned Champion

Best 5 fish per day. Ketch measuring boards only.

10% of the individual field will get paid.

The last two years 1st place has taken home $10k!

There will be an optional trash pot as well for the largest fish that is not an eligible bass species.

Captains Meeting will be at Everhart’s Outdoors on April 27 at 5pm.

Awards location will be at the Benson Civic Center in Clinton, Mo. on Saturday.

Boundaries-

Anglers must launch within the established boundaries at a public access.

Once launched in bounds an angler may paddle/pedal/motor as far up as a creek as they want as long as they do not portage over dry land (regardless of water levels) and they return in bounds to take out of the water. Anglers must launch and take out in bounds. Anglers may not get out of the kayak to drag through shallows. No wade fishing or shoreline fishing allowed.
